 For 1+ players,  ~15min/play,  ages 2+!

To celebrate my kid turning two and having a mouth full of teeth, I made a little art game called "My Boy's Got Teeth" and gave it out at his birthday party.

TO PLAY: Players roll dice for teeth count, then choose where/if to draw them, as allowed. The first to fill all the mouths on their game sheet with teeth wins. It is quick and silly. There are rule tweaks for co-op and solo modes too.

(I guess it's a kind of simplified Yahtzee or Qwixx, but it's less about strategy to win and more about drawing for fun. You know?)

BONUS!: Included in the downloads is "The Art and Ephemera of My Boy's Got Teeth", a 32 page production journal zine with design drafts, sketchbook concept art, and unrelated doodles. It is part production journal, part time capsule from the weeks leading up to his big day.

PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS:

Game trifold

The game prints as a 6x3 landscape trifold brochure with a color cover on the front, rules on the back, and four game sheets in between. Print portrait mode, double-sided on standard letter paper, then cut and fold on the lines indicated.

Note, the design intentionally spills over the cut lines to be full bleed, and some panels seem upside down but will be correct when folded.

Zine

Print portrait mode, double-sided on standard letter paper. Trim 1/4" from all sides, then cut horizontally. Stack top papers onto bottom, then fold in half vertically. Staple.

(For digital viewing or if you don't care to print as a zine, the "my_boys_got_teeth-zine-full..." PDF has all the pages laid out w/o page formatting.)
